- To see search warrant and keep a copy of it alon with all annexures
- To verify the identity of each member of the search party
- To personally search all the members of the party before they enter your premises and when they leave
- To have atleast two residents of the locality as witness
- Women of the household have a right to leave before the search party enters if according to custom they do not appear in public
- To have any statement issued against you in connection with the raid
